HR Business Partner, Japan

Sony Pictures Entertainment (Japan) Inc. distributes films, markets and sells DVD/BD, licenses films and TV shows, and operates Animax, and Kids Station Channels as well as producing Japanese films.
Our Japan office, located in Minato-ku Tokyo, currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to join their team and become a valued business partner to our Company.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Handle personnel transfers, organizational changes and on-boarding & off boarding
• Handle Goal setting, Performance Review, Salary Review, and employment contract renewal
• Play an important HR Business Partner role to support business units to achieve their goals
• Recruit mid-career staff, Haken employee, and arrange internship and on-boarding
• Plan and implement talent management, training & development program
• Liaise and coordinate with HQ in Los Angeles in terms of global projects
• Manage and create reports and data, administer documents and files, organize events

WHAT YOU HAVE:
• Typically more than 5 years' experience in the Human Resources field, especially in recruiting and training & development
• Business level English communication skills such as business email is preferred
• Have a flexible mindset to propose new ideas and improvement plans
• Understand internal clients' needs clearly and communicate and deal well with any type of people
• Have a never give up mind-set even in adversity and solve conflicts with a Win-Win solution
• Be able to collaborate with superiors and colleagues and act as a team player
• Solid and organized work skills
• OA skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A passion and interest in movies, TV drama, and anime!!

• Regular, full-time employment
• Competitive salary, with annual bonus eligibility.

• Working Hours: Standard time 0930 – 1800 (1 hour lunch break)
• Working Calendar: Five-day work week, Office is closed on Saturday, Sunday, national holidays and during year-end through New Year holidays
