Director, Networks Finance – India

We are seeking a Divisional Finance Director in our Networks team. Based in Culver City with a team of one, reporting directly to the SVP, you will be the key finance relationship for our networks and D2C affiliate business in India.

What You'll Be Focused on:
• You'll take a leading position in support of our subsidiary Sony Picture Networks India, which is currently in a potential merger with Zee Entertainment to create a $10bn value Media and Entertainment businesses in the fastest growing major economy in the world.
• Gaining and sharing insight about the businesses forward-looking strategy and financials
• Ensuring a smooth and efficient budget, forecast and MRP process.
• Supporting the business in a period of extreme change to ensure Sony's needs are met
• Assessing and recommending approval of material rights including sports rights, movies, entertainment, and technology.
• Working collaboratively with our teams across Tax, Treasury, Technical Accounting and Corporate Development, Group Financial Operations and Investor Relations
• Occasional travel to our business in India.
• Providing insight and expertise into the India Entertainment market.
• Own the divisional finance India submission, including analysis of performance and identifying opportunities and risks for the area
• You'll be a key supporter of our Three Week Forecast ambition, including the development of new processes, and driving the implementation of new planning and consolidation tools.

Your Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in finance, supported by at least a Bachelor's degree.
• Extensive experience of budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis.
• Experience in the Media/Television/D2C/Broadcasting is a plus, but not a prerequisite
• Understanding of the India market is not required, provided you have enthusiasm to learn
• Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint is a necessity; Analytics tools experience like Power BI a plus
• Multinational, matrix experience with large-scale multi-currency ERP systems preferred
