Director, Global Consumer Products Finance & Business Analytics

The Director, Global Consumer Products Finance and Business Analytics will manage overall global Consumer Products finance including all forecasting, royalty revenue tracking, business analysis, expense tracking and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee department budgeting, forecasting and determination of ultimates as well as cost tracking for the Global Consumer Products team
• Develop business insights and analysis capabilities to support competitive benchmarking, dashboard development and key performance metrics for business
• Build, lead and continually optimize forecasting process for Consumer Products, including reviewing and preparing consolidated financial deliverables
• Partner with business teams to provide modeling, financial management, strategic insights and business development support
• Liaise with accounting and legal to continually understand changes in guidance and optimize revenue recognition and contract details
• Work with licensees and agents to ensure accuracy of royalty reporting including identification of under-reported royalty revenue and overages
• Correspond with agents to make sure monies are being paid including working with collections and tax teams
• Support month and quarter-end close in partnership with Accounting teams
• Review monthly and quarterly revenue by property by licensee and category and provide updates and analysis to respective teams and department head
• Facilitate vendor set up and personnel system set up for department
• Key department contact for Corporate Finance and for IT for contract database management systems
• Assist with ad-hoc projects that may cover additional business divisions

Desired Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field required; MBA preferred
• 7+ years' experience in Finance
• Consumer products finance experience highly preferred
• Royalties experience required; Licensing finance experience preferred
• Entrepreneurial/Start-Up mindset
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Capable of preparing and presenting information to senior executives to support decision making
• Able to work independently
• Strong business, problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop positive, effective relationships with other departments/business partners and team
