Coordinator, International Publicity

INTERNATIONAL COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
• Assist in Strategizing, planning and executing all publicity ideas, junket, press day, character tour, film festival, fan event and convention participation logistics
• Local/regional press and reviews
• Specialty and experiential tours for films (Global Costume / prop / walkabout tours)
• Generates excel budgets and oversees the detailed costs for all junkets and spending
• Work with team to negotiate and secure talent hair, makeup & styling support for appearances, junkets and touring.
• Works alongside Team Leads to build and coordinate talent/filmmaker schedules, staffing assignments, executive & press itineraries and facilitate special requests.
• Liaison between publicity and hotels to plan events in conjunction with tour & Junket planners, managing room blocks for all talent/filmmakers, entourage, press, staff and executives at press publicity events
• Coordinates global partnership integration and involvement at publicity events and activations
• Facilitates Cross-Divisional requests and integrates involvement and participation at publicity events, experiential tours, and activations
• Partners with Publicists to create Regional Press and Influencer events/experiences to generate on-air and social content
• Junket
• Solicit and collate nominations from the field
• Manage international media at Global junkets
• Localization (adapt signage to each specific market, different posters, NTSC/PAL)
• Materials:
• Edit written materials based on strat teams feedback re: international positioning's
• Talent supplied editorials
• EPK transcripts for generics
• Branded Content Supplied Editorials (top tens, quizzes, activity sheets) - all created in house
• Disseminate publicity materials (wrap pages, production notes etc.) to markets
• Clips:
• Review & track clips/AV materials for field and create special clips as required by field
• Photo:
• Review & track photo selection with strat team to align with each territory's positioning
• Review & track Creative advertising shoot for publicity needs
• Photo Exclusives tracking & management based on field requests (including preview issues)
• Special Compositions/Interactive/VFX shots based on field requests
• International Covers review / approvals (as applicable depending on talent)
• Assist on the production of Special Studio Owned Editorial photo-shoots
• International Screenings (global tracking when necessary, and International All Media, HFPA and BAFTA Screenings).
• Screenings/Reviews:
• Collect & track screening reactions and reviews from field to compile into reports for execs and filmmakers
• Clear International Quotes for advertising
• Publishers
• Put in touch markets with each int'l publisher (for films based on novels)
• Route through legal for approval for all local press releases
• Schedule interviews with all int'l cast/crew members to each respective territory
• Home Entertainment Duties-TBC
• International Comic Con Conventions & National Comic Cons / Conventions Strategy
• Create Early Wrap Pages for conventions
• All associated media related to International Comic Con / Conventions (create early wrap pages for conventions, talent requests, etc.)

Requirements:
• At least 2+ year of experience supporting a Intl Publicity or Domestic Publicity
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work long hours, ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to ensure that all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Must be able to meet deadlines
• Must be flexible – an ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to revision
• Commonsense, dependability, discretion and attention to detail are required
• Must be a self-starter with a team-player attitude
• Demonstrates high problem-solving skills and be able to proactively troubleshoot
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral (must have a professional and courteous demeanor)
• Build and maintain relationships with other departments and cross functional groups
