Coordinator, International Distribution and Sales
We are seeking a Coordinator to join the Home Office International Distribution team within the Motion Pictures Group! This position will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the team where the new hire will assist with analyzing and reporting box office data, forecast trends and work as a liaison on weekly projects with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Develop, manage, and analyze box office reports to provide key insights and recommendations to Home Office International Distribution team
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Sony reporting systems to create market summaries by territory and update weekly
• Ad-hoc report creation to address immediate analysis needs of supervisor and executives
• Work collaboratively with sales personnel to facilitate strategic discussions focused on regional box office and genre trends
• Work collaboratively with marketing teams to identify audience trends and digital learnings that can be implemented in sales strategy
• Participate in all sales calls to compile notes and feedback which will be distributed to territory supervisors
• Email weekly projects and reminders to markets on behalf of Home Office and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Be the liaison between Theatrical and Home Entertainment for International theatrical release plans and updates
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Film, Economics, Statistics or relevant field is required
• A minimum of 1-3 years' relevant experience is required. Experience with sales/marketing or management and collaborating with both internal and external management teams is strongly preferred
• Prior work experience within a fast-paced sales environment is required
• Microsoft Word knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to a new computer system
• Excellent ability to organize time and prioritize job details
• Perform duties in a timely manner
• Work well under pressure
