Coordinator, Client Services Lead
The Content Mastering and Delivery Group (CMDG) Client Services Lead for Global Pay TV & Subscription (GPS) will ultimately be responsible for delivering full catalog feature and TV packages
(audio/video/subtitle/art/trailers/metadata) for Sony Pictures Television. The GPS Client Services Lead will be responsible for their assigned external clients/partners for VOD (Video on Demand) This position deals heavily with both internal Sony clients as well as external Content partners (such as Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Starz, HBO Max, Roku, Epix and more). Specific responsibilities include; client and vendor management, materials research, troubleshooting delivery issues as well as asset/source rejections, placing orders/writing POs for asset creation and delivery, tracking deliveries via internal systems, updating systems with delivery confirmations, and onboarding new clients for HD and 4k (HDR and SDR).
The Client Services Lead (CSL) position requires a self-motivated, highly organized, fast working, team-player who can problem solve and think critically about the product and workflow. The CSL should be able to effectively prioritize an abundance of work in order to use time efficiently, and hit hard deadlines. The CSL will be asked to work on special projects when required, on top of their regular duties. This position works very closely with internal CMDG teams to manage deliveries to shared clients with other LOBs, as well as the internal Mastering team to align on the availability of source masters for new features or acquisition titles.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Video, audio, subtitle digital file formats/codecs
• Knowledge of VOD and EST product
• Basic knowledge of SVOD and Pay TV Industry developments (clients, competitors, technology)
• Understanding of Film/TV Production & Post Production workflows
• Microsoft Office, MS EXCEL proficiency is required
• GOLD (Xytek based software for inventory research)
• Ability to self-motivate and prioritize workload based on due dates and urgency
• Problem solve beyond your role using critical thinking skills
• Be client facing and customer focused
• Work quickly and make calculated decisions independently
