CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION DIRECTOR, MOTION PICTURE LEGAL
The Sony Pictures Entertainment Legal team is hiring a Contract Administration Director to join our Motion Picture Legal team at corporate headquarters in Culver City, CA. This role will primarily support the Sony Pictures Consumer Products department reporting to the SVP, Business & Legal Affairs.
Responsibilities
• Draft, negotiate and process a high volume of merchandising licensing agreements and related agreements, correspondence, and other documentation
• Track status of the agreements and all related matters
• Research and analyze legal issues, including rights analysis, content clearance, and labor
• Manage antipiracy efforts, including trademark protection, enforcement, and cease and desists
• General problem-solving on a daily basis
Qualifications
• Excellent drafting skills along with superb judgment, prioritization and communication skills while interfacing with all levels of the company
• 8+ years of contract administrator and/or paralegal experience in a top law firm and/or in a studio/in-house entertainment legal affairs group
• Experience in consumer products licensing is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree
