General Summary:

The Associate Analyst, Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships will help support Sony Pictures Entertainment's development of strategic initiatives and partnerships across Latin America (including Brazil). The Associate Analyst will have an opportunity to apply business and financial expertise to strategic initiatives for various SPE business, including digital media, media networks, theatrical releasing, home entertainment and TV distribution. The Analyst is based in Miami and reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships, for Latin America.

Responsibilities:
• Provide financial and analytical model support for evaluating the performance of key business lines and determine the potential opportunity associated with key initiatives and partnerships.
• Create insightful presentations, reports, that effectively communicate recommendations, initiatives, and opportunities to senior management.
• Conduct market research to inform product, marketing, and pricing strategies.
• Maintain an up-to-date view on market research related to the industry.
• Support Sony's Latin American Digital Monetization business.
• Support budgeting and mid-range plan process.
• Collaborate with other Sony departments, including Ad Sales, Acquisitions, Sales Planning, Marketing, Finance, Programming, Research, Production, and People & Organization to develop insights and optimize offerings.
• Stay knowledgeable about key trends and changes within the media landscape.
• Other projects as required.

Experience / Skills:
• 1+ year of experience in Analytics, Financial Modeling, Business or related.
• Experience in entertainment and/or media preferred.
• Proven analytical and modeling skills.
• Robust problem-solving abilities, impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Hypotheses driven and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Extremely collaborative, team oriented and proactive.
• Knowledge of the Latin American media market preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish), both written and spoken, preferred; Portuguese a plus.
• Advanced Power Point presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable in Outlook, Windows, Excel (Advanced) and Word.

Education: Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
