Job Description
Assistant Manager, Transactional Sales, South Korea

Based in Seoul and reporting to the Manager, Sales Distribution (South Korea) the Assistant Manager, Transactional Sales, South Korea will lead transactional business by creating Go-To-Market plans and managing store operations, to meet or exceed annual revenue goal for the business.

Responsibilities will include the following:

Commercial:
• Create Go-To-Market strategy in South Korea
- Manage TVOD and EST pricing strategy
- Provide scheduling input to commercial planning process
- Drive SKU strategy for key releases, bundles and other variations
- Initiate EST pre orders on select clients
• Strive for best in class account service, increase SPE's share of voice with digital clients
- Lead client facing relations focused on programming, marketing and operations contacts, manage weekly or bi-weekly face to face or video calls with said contacts
- Understand client goals and develop effective growth strategies to achieve those goals, be the expert of client's strategies and priorities
- Leverage client assets such as social media/EDM
- Be intimately familiar with client's user interface and user experience
- Select optimal key art for respective clients and territories
- Create business plans for select clients as needed
• Oversee performance including checking with digital pricing/promotional strategy for each account
- Analyzing sales data and uncover insights from post analysis to drive sales growth
- Manage store checks for SPE titles, monitor competitor windows and pricing and retain that data for future reference
Operation and Internal Collaboration:
• Ensure operational efficiency with support teams internally and externally, ensuring scheduling, delivery and pricing are correctly executed
• Work with Sales to provide input to commercial terms and transactional deals / deal renewals for transactional digital clients, ensure compliance of agreed deal terms
• Work with Sales planning on budgeting and forecasting for transactional revenue as a part of the SPT budget cycle
• Work with Marketing to create comprehensive Go-To-Market plans of our movie titles
• Work with SPT Research team on projects related to promotions, market intel, social media monitoring, and leverage that data to drive transactional revenue growth
• Oversea censorship process to make sure the process to comply with Korea regulation and company policy
• Work with various SPT and Sony divisions on cross-promotions and other synergistic opportunities to drive incremental transactions

Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum Degree qualification in Business Administration or relevant disciplines
• Must have a passion for movies and TV series
• Be analytical, detail-oriented and a logical thinker
• Strong oral communication for presentation, sales and negotiation skills
• Experience in customer facing situations
• Fluent in English and Korean, ability to translate Korean to English as part of a discussion
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Possess an ability to work under pressure and multi-task
