Job Description
Analyst, Supply Chain & Inventory Planning

This position is responsible for providing support functions and analysis for SPHE's Inventory Planning (IP) group. The Analyst will be responsible in assisting with the management of finished goods and raw materials inventory for all formats across North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Item set up and maintenance including product bill of material (BOM) to ensure quality and accurate vendor pricing
• Evaluate sales projections, demand forecasts and historical data to create production plans
• Procurement orders for raw materials and finished goods including processing of vendor invoices and evaluating inventory
• Resolve vendor purchase order price discrepancies and input related corrective measures
• Analyze vendor status reports to maintain timely delivery for manufacturing and distribution facilities
• Evaluate reporting and queries to support inventory control analysis
• Write material transfer requests to record product movement based on regional demand
• Improve operational efficiencies by managing returns, including the set up for returns processing and maintenance of physical product
• Effectively work with cross functional teams to ensure proper execution of projects and initiatives
• Prepare inventory/production related analysis per Management direction, including ad hoc reporting and maintenance of departmental KPIs.
• Assist in Ad-hoc Reporting and maintaining kit build forecast

REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in Material Management, Manufacturing, Inventory Control, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Home Entertainment field.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics or Supply Chain
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and able to complete tasks on schedule
• Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and have strong organizations skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and generate solutions

Knowledge of:
• Strong computer skills including Windows applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AS400 and JD Edwards
• Supply Chain
• Inventory Management (preferred)
• Forecasting
