Analyst, People & Organization Operations

The Analyst, People & Organization (P&O) Operations is a key member of the People & Organization (Human Resources) team at Sony Pictures Entertainment. The Analyst is responsible for processing changes to the organization's human capital management system (HCM) in Workday so that information is accurate and secure in accordance with company guidelines, while maintaining standards of privacy and confidentiality. This role will be under the general direction of the Senior Manager, Data & Process Integrity.

The successful candidate will be a quick and eager learner, have a keen interest in Human Resources, and must possess solid Excel skills, as well as strong communication skills and an excellent customer service orientation. The level of work ranges from very basic to more complex and may vary frequently, therefore it is important that the candidate be flexible.

Responsibilities
• Be a trusted resource for the entire global P&O team with respect to data and system processes and procedures
• Utilize the Service Now portal for processing incoming requests and managing workflow
• Provide HCM data entry support in Workday for the global P&O department
• Partner closely with internal P&O and external departments (Payroll, IT, etc.) to research and resolve employee data issues
• Generate standard reports, conduct routine and ad-hoc audits and data analysis for the P&O Operations team
• Assist in researching and testing new system capabilities and process reviews
• Document processes and information to expand the HR knowledgebase
• Provide other administrative HR support such as onboarding-related support activities, P&O billings and personnel file administration
• Support P&O Operations team and assist with other projects and reporting as needed

Qualifications
• 1-3 years of Human Resources Information System (HRIS), HR Operations and Payroll experience
• Basic knowledge of Workday is preferred, but not required
