Analyst, Global Creative Strategy & Research

Summary:
Oversee all day-to-day operations, analysis, reporting, and communications of all production research projects for every label of the studio, working underneath the VP of Production Research. Distill the unique needs of each project and stakeholder, then identify the specific research methodology and deliverables to meet those needs. Research will include but not be limited to comprehensive brand & franchise deep dives, original film concept & greenlight studies, qualitative focus groups, tracking tack-ons, and other custom research solutions. Execute every step of each project from designing recruit parameters and questionnaires to reviewing survey responses and raw data, to analyzing results and formulating insights, to communicating key findings both in writing and through presentations. Serve as part of the production research team on ad hoc projects as needed, including the creation, management, and deployment of a company-wide, opt-in database for internal employee research opportunities. Responsible for commissioning and guiding external vendors as needed, and for managing internal stakeholders and filmmakers on a project-by-project basis.

Responsibilities:

The position plans, manages and conducts research and analytical projects that address the Global Strategic Marketing & Research Department's needs. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage the entire process and all logistics for all production research projects – from design to planning to execution to reporting, including all admin-related tasks such as setting meetings and reviews.
• Meet with stakeholders of each project to understand needs, then formulate custom solutions and deliverables to address those needs.
• Participate in the research fielding process – identify and commission vendors, guide them on methodology and project design, review and approve final parameters, attend focus groups.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative responses from commissioned research to uncover detailed findings and formulate key insights.
• Report on project learnings to all stakeholders and internal company departments as needed – includes writing formal memos for distribution, assembling and/or guiding the creation of visual presentations, and answering questions in both virtual and in-person meetings.
• Assist with test screenings on an as-needed basis (may require after-hours work)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Preferred 1-2 years of work experience, ideally in entertainment industry
• Strong Microsoft Suite Applications skill (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Individual must possess extreme proficiency in written and quantitative skills
• Strong project management skills
• Must be detailed oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication, as well as presentation skills
• Strong analytic skills
• Knowledge/Experience of surveys
