Job Description
The VP People Experience (PX) Business Partner, Latin-Iberia will be responsible for the strategic development of the People agenda for the region, and overall leadership, delivery, and execution of best-in-class HR(PX) services across the region. Working closely with both the regional leadership team (CEO and COO), senior Americas and Global PX leadership and local (country-based) People leads to define priorities across all critical employee experiences including hiring, onboarding, engagement, compensation, talent management, mobility for employees across the region. The goal: to create the most People Centric Company in the Entertainment Industry where we innovate, create, grow and win together.
Reporting into the SVP People Experience Americas & EVP COO Latin/Iberia Region, this role will be part of the America's PX leadership team and responsible for partnering with the all the PX SMEs, TA team, PX Business Partners, DE&I, Systems and Communications on strategic initiatives that improve the overall employee experience at key touchpoints across the employee journey.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Day-to-day BP responsibility for Miami staff (roughly 250 employees) and oversight of the broader team of BPs (with responsibility for ~750 employees across Latin-America and Ibieria).
• Deep understanding of US, Latin American and European employee, and labor practices to guide and inform business decisions across the region.
• Interpret the Americas and Global PX strategy and priorities into strategic initiatives to improve the overall employee experience across key focus pillars:
• Hiring Experience (in partnership with TA)
• Pre-boarding & Onboarding Experience
• Early Career (Intern Program and College Marketing in partnership with TA)
• Employee Engagement
• Career Growth and Talent Management
• Mobility Experiences (in partnership with Global Mobility and PXBPS)
• Hybrid, remote and 'in office' Experiences
• Exit & Alumni Experience
• Identifying themes, trends and latest thinking to feed into developing the best strategies and approaches for each of the pillars
• Continuously evaluate all people practices, and programs, ensuring fair, equitable and inclusive outcomes
• Partner with the Office of DEI and regional leadership teams to support the ongoing actions and efforts of the DEI plans across the region
• Work with SME centers of excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, L&D, Org Success, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) on key themes in the region to ensure thoughtful and responsive interventions
• Work closely with Regional and MDs on key organization development and initiatives that may have broader reach implications across the region
• Work closely with the Regional CEO to identify key priorities (aligned with business plan and employee engagement survey) to communicate and drive employee awareness and alignment
• Support the development of a unified local and regional ''culture'' that contributes to high levels of inclusion, engagement and retention.
• Build an environment where wellbeing is fully integrated in all areas of the business.
• Closely monitor external market insights and opportunities, influencing stakeholders to drive new and industry leading initiatives
• Develop a rich business acumen and a deep understanding of creative and commercial drivers with which HR practice can be guided and developed
• Use of data, analytics and financials to develop strategy, gain insights and build strong business case for change
• Champion change programs and initiatives that lead to improved employee experience and improved business results
• Lead organizational change management initiatives and support leaders with employee communication as needed
• Manage and navigate the wider team and employees through the change curve
• Contribute to a highly collaborative Americas and Global People Experience team on cross-functional, trans-national, projects and initiatives.
• Close partnership with Finance, Tech, L&D, DE&I, PSI, Comms and other key partners across the organization to develop and deliver an optimal employee experience across the region
• 50% travel required across the LATAM region
Key Partnerships to drive success
• Partner with TA, L&D and PXBPs to track, measure and improve the overall engagement across each of the Experience Pillars
• Partner and execute on critical annual events (Merit/Bonus Planning, Global Employee Engagement Survey, etc), and key follow-ups (communication, budget planning, pulse surveys) to ensure completion, follow-through and improvements
• Be an agent of change, influencing stakeholders to drive new and industry leading initiatives that drive engagement and create inclusive experiences for diverse teams
• Act as a champion for diversity & inclusion and partner with the DE&I team on all efforts across the employee experience pillars
• Working closely with the Internal Communications team to ensure that all employee experience initiatives are communicated in a way which underpins and supports our culture, values, and employer brand
WHO YOU ARE:
• A self-motivated, innovative thinker who is intellectually curious, with an exceptional business and HR acumen and a keen interest in the Latin music industry
• Senior leadership experience as a trusted advisor and business partner
• Pivots between strategic solutions and executional activities with agility and can seamlessly adapt to changing business environments and priorities
• Experience leading, developing people strategy and creative vision as well as comfortable with getting involved in execution.
• Strong communication skills; Spanish and English mastery, Portuguese a plus.
• Proven leadership experience leading a diverse, in-office and remote team to deliver best in class employee experiences, operational efficiency and high-quality work
• Demonstrated ability to build trust and confidence at multiple levels in an organization
• Demonstrated ability driving pragmatic decision-making in a collaborative, fast-paced, team-based environment
• A passionate and influential thought partner who can make complex decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and empathy
• Deep understanding and experience in driving transformative change from a culture and business perspective
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for diversity, equity and inclusion as a key part of organizational culture and sustaining through aligned programs, policies, and practices.
• They should have demonstrated success in translating ambiguous business needs into strategies and concrete organizational, team, and individual development actions
• You have sound cross-functional collaboration skills, can build relationships internally and instill a sense of solidarity across teams
• Consultative in nature with proven ability to instill trust and credibility with senior leaders
• They will have an enterprise mindset with the ability to think about the organization on a global, macro level as well as adapt to local needs and nuances.
