Specialist, Sales (Epic Records)
As a Specialist, Sales, Epic Records, your role will focus on pitching, securing visibility, and developing relationships with various smaller and emerging streaming partners. You will foster strong relationships with editorial and label relations teams at the partners and collaborate and strategize with multiple label departments to grow the streams and awareness of the label's artists and releases. This is the perfect next step in a developing career and a great opportunity to join or advance in a label sales team.
What you'll do:
• Foster mutually beneficial relationships with editorial and label relations teams at streaming partners to maximize exposure for new and top performing releases.
• Assess and recap DSP visibility and campaigns to share with senior management and the other teams of the label.
• Collaborate across departments to develop and execute creative on and off-platform ideas to grow the streams and awareness of artists and releases.
• Draft pitches for DSPs on upcoming new releases and ongoing priorities.
Who you are:
• You will have at least 2 year experience with working knowledge in physical and digital music industry with prior experience in music and sales/distribution strongly preferred.
• You will have a Bachelor's degree.
• An exceptional communicator with extraordinary time management skills.
• A proactive, intuitive, curious, self-starter who has strong problem solving, analytic, and interpersonal skills while being able to work independently.
• You will have the ability to manage time and priorities set and achieve goals and juggle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
• An extremely organized professional and be able to create and maintain very strong business relationships.
• Must have a passionate commitment to music and artists and be available to attend evening showcases as required.
