Marketing Manager

Job Description

As a Marketing Manager, you will obsess over campaigns that bring ears to our shows. You're a strategic and creative marketer who can combine your marketing experience, analytical skills and creative insight to drive listenership. This position is part of Sony Music's podcast team in New York City and reports to the VP of Marketing for Podcasting.

What you'll do:
• Find and create audiences for our podcasts
• Oversee go-to-market plans that exceed audience targets
• Manage show marketing budgets
• Work with editorial teams to create and maintain strategic social media launch plans for brand and programming initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with key partners across the production, analytics, data research, and creative services teams to develop business insights that drive listenership
• Effectively project manage multiple title launches to ensure timely and accurate development, production and delivery of creative assets

Who you are:
• 5+ years marketing experience, with a background in media or entertainment marketing strongly preferred
• A proven track record of creating and executing impactful marketing campaigns with demonstrable ROI
• Solid understanding of creative positioning, key art/video execution, advertising and entertainment marketing
• Equally creative and & analytical, with exceptional communication skills
• A true love of podcasts
• Undergraduate degree required
