Job Description
Sony Music Masterworks is seeking a Coordinator, Marketing who will work with the Marketing and International Marketing teams. We are looking for a department coordinator who has a special blend of skills; a highly organized multitasker who enjoys building and fostering professional relationships. This role offers the opportunity to learn, contribute and grow within a team-oriented environment. We need someone who enjoys a behind-the-scenes role where your administrative excellence can shine.

What you'll do:
• Collaborate with various departments across Masterworks to drive marketing and promotional efforts including digital, commerce, press and radio in the US and overseas.
• Gather information about upcoming releases and communicate with International Affiliates via setup emails, music/video e-cards, international newsletters, press documents, etc.
• Facilitate domestic and international vendor payment including setting up new vendors, issuing purchase orders, routing of invoices for approval, submission of invoices to Accounts Payable, payment follow-up.
• Assist with radio functions including sending press release, service digital music, fulfill radio requests for promotional CDs, execute mailings to contest winners.
• Asset management (press photos, album/track covers, banner ads, pre-roll, etc.) including organization and uploading to cloud storage using consistent filing/naming conventions, uploading to shared servers for internal and external distribution, exporting to programs for digital distributions.
• Create decks for internal and external and pitch presentations.
• Attend and participate/strategize in weekly Label Meetings, Production Meetings, Marketing Meetings, International Catch-Up conference calls etc.
• Organize and implement ticket buys for local shows featuring Masterworks artists.
• Book travel, hotels and car service for artists and senior label personnel.
• Address and respond to problems/inquiries submitted through the Masterworks website.
• Create and maintain artist one sheets.
• Compile and maintain reports on campaigns, including Sales, Publicity, Marketing and Advertising for all artists.

Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, preferably in marketing, communications or business.
• Experience in music, lifestyle, entertainment, or other creative industry desired.
• Creative, organized, analytical, detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-priority global environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Actively emerged in music and pop culture and its consumption across multiple channels with an in-depth knowledge of YouTube, social and streaming platforms.
• Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities as well as in the work environment.
• Ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Professional, confident, positive and calm demeanor.
• A team player, who is both ambitious and able to take initiative and see projects through independently.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal staff, artists and managers, and external vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, inDesign) desired but not required.
