Job Description

The Finance Analyst, Finance GDB will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team and will be responsible for assisting in performing various financial and operational functions for the Global Digital Business Group. Success in the role will be dependent upon strong communication and analytical skills to gain an understanding of digital revenue, intercompany recharges and other various accounting and reporting topics relevant to the GDB Group. As a support role for Business Operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day administrative activities including, but not limited to, cash claiming, vendor payments, journal entries, etc.

What you'll do:
• Record, reconcile and communicate monthly recharges (US physical distribution charges to record labels; regional office departmental charges)
• Monthly and quarterly close processes, reconciliations and reviews (Flash reports, BPC uploads, etc.)
• Collaborate on monthly forecasting inc. management report from financial reporting system for US physical and digital sales
• Set up new AP vendors and prepare AP coding sheets, review invoices before they are sent to AP
• Prepare and distribute monthly overhead and T&E reports to GDB/US Sales department heads
• Create journal entries as needed
• Additional ad hoc special projects and analyses for corporate and senior management including preparation of Power Point presentations

Who you are:
• 1-2 years of experience in Finance/Operations with degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle many tasks
• Strong communication skills, polite, courteous, and a good listener
• Problem-solving skills with ability to find solutions using critical thinking
• Microsoft Office especially Excel & PowerPoint
• Self-starter but asks questions when guidance is needed
• Team player, enthusiastic, inquisitive and eager to learn
• Exposure or understanding of SAP and BPC
