Job Description
The Director, Digital Marketing & Streaming is an all-encompassing role focusing on the entire digital strategy of the label and artists. This person must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the digital realm (marketing, technology, social media, advertising, data analysis etc.) while excelling in streaming and digital retail.

What you'll do:
• Develop and drive overall digital marketing strategies for the label and artists
• Liaison between label and key streaming and digital retail partners including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube, VEVO, Slacker, Napster, Tidal, and more.
• Pitch accounts for featured placement and secure promotional opportunities and campaigns
• Maintain a full understanding of all accounts brands, promotional opportunities, consumer bases, and work closely with them to develop strategies that drive revenue and maximizes artist exposure
• Monitor account activities; be aware of marketplace and partnerships with other artists, labels, and products
• Develop and pitch unique out-of-home marketing partnerships, content, and events with DSPs
• Create strategy to drive data acquisition and engagement
• Develop and establish best practices for D2C & e-commerce strategy for the label and additional new business opportunities
• Develop strategies to maximize publicity initiatives
• Pitch internal and external partners for playlist inclusion and create and maintain owned playlists and grow subscriber base
• Work with product manager to conduct and perform detailed research and analysis on our artists, releases, sales, streams, and revenue to evaluate how to run campaigns for maximum exposure
• Keep entire team up to date all the most important updates and changes in the digital space from partners to tools and technology and beyond
• Maintain social platform partner relationships (Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc) for promotional opportunities and campaigns
• Oversee social media strategies; including posting strategies, analytics, influencer campaigns, fan building, advertising, creative and more
• Create strategy to drive data aquistion and maintain mailing lists on behalf of artist roster and label
• Seek opportunities for digital partnerships with brands, digital press outlets and influencers
• Set departmental goals for data acquisition, social growth, streaming growth and all digital initiatives
• Create strategy and monitor growth of artist and Monument-curated playlisting entities
• Develop and execute video content planning to nourish artist's YouTube and Vevo fan base
• Facilitate the production, distribution and marketing initiatives surrounding label podcasting projects
• Manage relationships with physical and digital retailers in collaboration with SME sales team
• Forecast and update sales projections for all label releases

Who you are:
• Experience in digital marketing with proven success developing innovative, creative campaigns
• Passion for digital innovation and an ability to apply relevant technology trends to music marketing
• Extensive, hands-on experience managing social media platforms and building social communities
• Advanced experience managing spreadsheets (Excel) to generate weekly reporting for social media, video, etc.
• Fundamental understanding of HTML and content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
• Basic grasp of CRM/e-mail newsletter platforms (e.g. Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.)
• Experience capturing content with mobile devices and solid graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
• Experience in a role that required excellent collaboration and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic, great communication, writing, and editing skills
• Bachelor's degree in marketing/digital/communications/promotions/advertising or related field a plus

This position requires the use of the CLEAR Health Pass App to access the office and off-site work events. While COVID vaccination is highly encouraged, vaccination is not required for employees based out of our Tennessee offices, although COVID-19 testing may be required.
