Director, Cloud Architecture and Operations

Job Description

As a Director, Cloud Architecture and Operations, works closely with members of the Global Technology and Information Security teams to deliver critical infrastructure capabilities and services with the highest levels of availability, performance, and security across our enterprise.

What you'll do:
• Strategically partner with technology, architecture and information security teams and to drive solution design, scale, process improvement, and growth across the enterprise
• Define and establish necessary capabilities and drive continual improvement based on evolving business needs, platform landscape and vendor capabilities
• Manage the solution lifecycle of large and medium scale connected hardware and software products requiring complex cross-functional collaboration
• Create and manage end to end solution architecture blueprints and roadmaps, monitor and review platform progress and timelines against the solution roadmaps; influence platform priorities and plans as needed, and identify and resolve issues to ensure user success
• Identify opportunities to leverage all Sony Music solutions/ technologies to address business needs within key focus areas
• Lead and coordinate infrastructure response to security incidents working closely with other Global Technology team members and Information Security
• Continually stay abreast of both technology advancements, trends and new product and platform capabilities as well as security developments and emerging threats

Who you are:
• Qualified candidates will have a background in IT, computer, security systems analysis and engineering
• A minimum of 10+ years' experience in technology leadership and architecture experience
• Extensive experience with cyber security frameworks and aligning technical configurations to security controls
• Proven experience in best practices in consulting, solution development, architecture, and delivery with proven success. Experienced with Modern Cloud and Microservice Architectures and Platform approaches
• Understanding of cloud computing technologies with demonstrated experience on one or more of the following:
• Azure /AWS Core Platform:
• Azure BLOB, Office 365, AWS S3, Serverless Services, API Management
• Application development & debugging experience: C/C++/C#, Python, Java Node.JS, SQL, etc.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
• Azure IDP, OKTA, conditional access
• Demonstrate experience developing modern cloud application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments
• Excellent knowledge of cloud security best practices and solutions in cloud security posture management and cloud security workload management. Deep understanding of security, risk mitigation, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems, and networking connectivity

• The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $140k to $180k. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job
