Job Description

As a Creative Designer at AWAL, you will see through design projects from ideation to execution for some of the biggest independent artists in the world. You will bring AWAL artists' visions to life through photo, graphic, motion and video creative. Additionally, you will spearhead design work for the AWAL brand and digital properties, helping to guide the evolution of the AWAL brand aesthetic.

WHAT DOES A CREATIVE DESIGNER AT AWAL DO?
• Assist creative director in all day-to-day design requests related to artist & brand projects
• Support our social media manager to design for AWAL socials - GIFs, short video edits, playlist covers, employee highlights, TikTok videos, quote cards, press recaps, NMF & more
• Create and design graphic layouts, templates and animations for AWAL & artist social channels using visual effects and motion graphics; staying up to date on competitor work and latest creative trends
• Assist on design work for artist projects- creating lyric videos, visualizers, album release assets, tour posters, merch, moodboards, digital and print ads, social banners, social graphics and more
• Work with our brand/partnerships team to support visual assets for brand activations, partner invites, step & repeat design etc
• Maintain design consistency across the AWAL brand and artist campaigns respectively - understand, interpret and apply brand guidelines thoughtfully for each project
• Design projects most currently in demand: lyric videos, tour posters, TikTok filters, animating static images into multi-layer motion graphic compositions, single artwork, color palette and campaign font curation
