Associate Director, Digital Partner Management

Job Description

The Associate Director, Digital Partner Operations is responsible to oversee Sony Music Entertainment's digital partner operations with fingerprinting and non-retail digital service providers.

What you'll do:
• Oversee partner operations with fingerprinting and non-retail digital service providers - Maintain healthy partner relationships including making sure SME's content is delivered accurately and on time
• Manage the onboarding of digital partners, ensuring out feeds are set up and backfilled correctly as well as handle ongoing partner queries
• Work with internal teams and Operations teams at each DSP on delivery failure monitoring and resolution
• Create and manage all training & documentation including maintaining an up-to-date central repository/wiki for DSP-specific processes.
• Develop and oversee process to manage SME content that is in conflict with other content providers
• Manage a team that executes time sensitive, partner-specific requests such as YouTube claim requests, Facebook greenlisting. This includes training our larger Operations team globally on Round-the-clock claiming and troubleshooting requests.
• Work with multiple teams across Sony Music including Business & Legal Affairs, Business & Partner Development to execute additional partnerships for claiming projects with third partner companies.
• Continuously work with Operations, Technology teams and labels to manage projects that improve overall supply chain and maximize efficiencies in our supply chain

• Detail oriented and the ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships internally and externally.
• Capable to troubleshoot potential issues and articulate problems with internal groups
• Able to handle many complex and time-sensitive projects simultaneously
• Have an understanding of digital supply chains
• Able to drive projects from initiation to completion independently
• An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
• Experienced working with general index databases, advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experienced working with fingerprinting and UGC concepts with companies such as YouTube
• Experienced in managing a team and training larger groups on new processes
