As an Associate Director, Digital Marketing, you will serve as the Digital Marketing Lead, responsible for implementing digital marketing strategies that drives audience acquisition, music consumption, and revenue growth for an assigned roster of artists and Sony Music Nashville overall.

Sony Music Entertainment is a global recorded music company with a roster of current artists that includes a broad array of both local artists and international superstars, as well as a vast catalog that comprises some of the most important recordings in history.

What you'll do:
• Create, develop, and execute innovative digital marketing campaigns on behalf of assigned artist roster
• Grow and engage social network communities (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube Community, etc.), track and analyze social media data and consumer marketing results
• Responsible for setting quantifiable goals for our artists/projects, along with the strategies and tactics meant to achieve those goals
• Implement new technologies and marketing tactics geared to maximize music streaming and consumption
• Evaluate new technology partners (e.g. TikTok, Genius, BandsInTown, etc.), identify consumer trends, and develop new models of digital fan engagement
• Drive CRM strategy (including email newsletters) for assigned artist roster; employ consumer data segmentation, targeting, testing and technical integration to optimize digital marketing initiatives
• Develop websites, content (video, audio, graphic, text), and posting strategies for web, social and mobile
• Conceptualize contests and sweeps, including set-up of online forms and drafting of rules with Legal department
• Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns to reach target audiences across the web and social media
• Act as webmaster for SonyMusicNashville.com; manage Sony Nashville social media accounts
• Take a lead in incubation tactics, using new technology to support Sony Nashville's developing artist roster
• Work with Production and Release Planning staff to set-up and schedule digital products
• Communicate closely with analytic team to gather music and audience insights, applying them continuously in your digital marketing strategies.
• Work closely with key internal label teams, artists, and management to proactively communicate about new products, technologies, strategies, social communities and available digital opportunities
• Oversee and develop junior level digital marketing staff

Who you are:
• At least 4 years of progressive experience running point on digital campaign for artists and projects with proven success developing innovative, creative campaigns (record label experience strongly preferred)
• Experience in digital marketing with proven success developing innovative, creative campaigns
• Must have the ability to balance music marketing savvy with attention to detail, follow up and execution on a multiple project level.
• Passion for digital innovation and an ability to apply relevant technology trends to music marketing
• Bachelor's degree in marketing/digital/communications/promotions/advertising or related field a plus
• Extensive, hands-on experience managing social media platforms and building social communities
• Experience with Crowdtangle, chartmetric and other social analysis tools a plus
• Advanced experience managing spreadsheets (Excel) to generate weekly reporting for social media, video, etc.
• Fundamental understanding of HTML and content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
• Basic grasp of CRM/e-mail newsletter platforms (e.g. Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.)
• Experience capturing content with mobile devices and solid graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)
• Experience in a role that required excellent collaboration and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic, great communication, writing, and editing skills
• Willingness to work extended hours including nights and weekends
