Job Description
This position assists every aspect of the Legacy (Sony Music's catalog division) A&R department. You'll be helping out both the audio (music) A&R department and the visual A&R department (handling photos and video assets). Sony Music's catalog is vast, and you'll be involved in nearly every part of it as the A&R team helps curate and expose this incredible catalog to existing and future fans.

What you'll do:
• Liaise with finance on all A&R invoices to get all vendors set up and paid quickly
• Work with our internal asset management system to send out audio e-cards and pull assets for the Legacy staff
• Send and receive video files via AOMA, Ci, Promo Tool, and Aspera Faspex to A&R + internal team
• Playlist curation tasks for the audio A&R staff
• Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, packages and storage areas
• Assist 2 SVP's and 1 VP of A&R with basic administrative duties (scheduling meetings, travel, expense reports, etc).

Who you are:
• The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has a minimum of 1 year of prior experience, preferably in the general field of music
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint/Keynote, Photoshop & Outlook), an intimate knowledge of all DSPs, and general knowledge of Google docs, Smartsheet and similar tools
• Willing and able to learn a variety of proprietary Sony Music analytics tools, invoicing programs, etc.
• Successful candidate needs to possess a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and a demonstrated ability to thrive and stay organized in a fast-paced work environment while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
• A proactive, flexible, self-starter who has strong problem-solving, social and interpersonal skills.
• The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are also required.
