Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Francisco, CA to perform software development, programming design, and analysis. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience designing and building high-performance, highly scalable solution for next-generation entertainment platform for consumer electronic devices. Prior experience must include one (1) year of designing and implementing modern web services architecture and web application with object-oriented design utilizing Java, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, REST, AJAX, Jersey 2, Apache Tomcat, and JSON; utilizing agile development methodology and applying engineering best practices including highly scalable, efficient, reusable and clean code in daily development; participating in standups and scrum activities including sprint planning, grooming and retrospectives; utilizing relational databases MySQL as data storage; writing tests using Junit; and documenting system architecture, design and data flow diagrams.
