The Studio Art Director is responsible for encouraging, leading and driving the artistic vision and development of AAA products. Equally vital to this role is the ability to set and maintain the creative vision and quality bar for the product which sets the standard within the industry.
Production Coordinator
As a Coordinator, you will be relied upon to collaborate with your team, creative leads, and studio leaders to track task status, follow process, identify issues and facilitate communication. Act is the glue for your team, get in front of road blocks and find solutions. The ideal candidate will is highly proactive, driven and willing to learn. Additionally communication and organization skills are paramount. Bring your passion for making games and help us create our next AAA title that will set us apart from the rest!
Responsibilities:
• Help day to day operations of a cross discipline team.
• Assist Producers in identifying issues, tracking tasks, taking notes and connecting team members.
• Help your team through all phases of development, from design through final approval.
• Ensure all documentation, milestones and deliverables are tracked, scheduled, budgeted.
• Execute and deliver by tracking development efforts, reporting status to keep product on schedule.
• Be your team's communication link between leaders, internal teams, key stake holders and external resources.
• Use established process to help drive the development in your areas of ownership.
• Be a troubleshooter for your team, work with Producers and Directors to find solutions to development problems.
• Foster and enhance positive/collaborative working relationships with internal development team.
• Follow necessary processes and procedures for product development to ensure company-wide policies are adhered to.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience or internship in game production.
• Some discipline specific experience working as an Engineer, Designer or Artist in the games or film industry.
• Knowledgeable in project scheduling and tasking with the ability to monitor the progress of department milestones and individual tasks against those schedules.
• Excellent organizational & prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge and ability to multi-task.
• Experience, MS Project, MS Office (Excel), Smart Sheet, Shotgun, Bug tracking databases (JIRA, DevTrack, TestTrack).
• Familiarity with Agile techniques such as SCRUM, and traditional production management.
• Interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledgeable of current industry trends: stays up-to-date on competitive products and best practices.
• Must love games and have a passion for creating them!
