Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking for a passionate Manager, Data Center Logistics to be based in our Austin, Texas or Aliso Viejo, California office. This position is for an experienced candidate who will work within the Data Center Operations and Network Deployment teams reporting to the Director of Data Center Operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Material planning for new data center buildouts including creating bill of materials, working with procurement team to request quotes and place orders with suppliers
• Creating detailed Statements of Work for each project that can be provided to vendors for quoting purposes
• Working with vendors to coordinate shipments of materials and/or spare parts to data center locations
• Maintain inventory accuracy preventing inventory shortages while maintaining a balanced global inventory
• Provide financial reporting and reconciliation of global inventory
• Work closely with leadership on global inventory, spares strategy and reporting of equipment failure/replacement

Requirements:
• BA degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years working in a production Data Center environment in a logistics capacity
• Experience with asset management tracking and reporting
• Knowledge of various vendor RMA processes to facilitate repairs and returns
• Technical experience with data center buildouts and expansions including the infrastructure utilized
• High interest in technology
• Highly refined organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to handle various tasks at one time
• High energy and a driven desire to positively impact the business
