Sr. Manager, Program Management (Planning & Support)

Sinclair Digital is looking for an experienced program management leader to take our planning and support organizations to the next level. Our portfolio includes 180+ local news sites and apps, The Tennis Channel, Marquee Sports, STIRR, and NextgenTV. These innovative products provide 24x7 news, sports, and entertainment experiences to our nationwide audience. This leader will help the organization improve our ability to deliver these experiences with increased agility while providing world class support.

What you'll do:
• Planning
• Extend our decision horizon and drive accountability by facilitating & coordinating quarterly planning increments, goal setting, and retrospectives
• Track the OKR process across the organization; help teams articulate initiatives that support the desired outcomes
• Be the critical link between multiple teams; facilitate communications, open the flow of information, and share progress updates to ensure all teams involved are focused on successful delivery
• Drive continuous process improvements by collaborating with stakeholders on solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established goals
• Develop, maintain, and manage metrics which demonstrate the health and performance of both our teams and objectives
• Support
• Develop, manage, and maintain incident and problem management processes including process documentation and detailed runbooks
• Ensure support team members are providing best in class support
• Ensure postmortem actions are completed in a timely manner by technology teams
• Provide operational and supportability reports to leadership
• As the voice of the customer, ensure top customer impacting issues are addressed in a timely manner by the appropriate teams
• Communication and Collaboration
• Collaborate effectively with peer groups across all organizational disciplines
• Drive communication across organization & translate objectives into business centric value updates
• Develop close relationships with stakeholders across the organization and impact our business by connecting the right people to implement timely solutions
• Understand deliverables and dependencies across the organization

What you'll bring:
• 10+ years' experience that includes people management and program management
• A strong customer orientation
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail orientation
• Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies
• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including communicating with other technical teams/tech leads, product management, with ability to build consensus in diversifying opinions
• Data analysis capabilities to use data to drive business outcomes, identify problems and validate solutions
• A track record of creating meaningful employee and leadership experiences that drive employee job satisfaction
