Job Description
CNYCentral has an immediate opening for a Promotions Producer. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to create effective promos for our three network-affiliated news-producing stations. You will be part of an experienced Creative Services Team and work closely with an award-winning news team and leader in this market. If you can write, shoot, and edit compelling content for on-air and digital platforms, we want you!• Responsibilities include:
• Produce news topical promos, image campaigns and syndicated promotional spots.
• Maintain our strong brand identity in the market.
• Write effective copy targeted to our audience.
• Creating compelling messaging to support our news and sales teams.
• Participate in station events and outreach within our community.
• Required skills:
• Must be able to take a project from concept to completion, while managing deadlines.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational skill.
• You must be a team player and work under live news deadlines.
• Basic video shooting skills. DSLR shooting skills are a plus.
• Strong editing and graphics skills.
