Sinclair Digital is transforming how local news and television is produced, distributed, and consumed. We are the digital innovation team for the largest and most diversified television broadcasting company in the country, with affiliations to all major networks and more local television stations than anyone else. Sinclair Digital's software engineers/architects work together to solve complex problems around delivering local news, regional sports (Bally's, Tennis Channel, Marquis) & entertainment to audiences across the country. Our digital product portfolio includes, websites, mobile apps, over-the-top (OTT) apps, content publish and data/analytics platform.
Our Data and Analytics team is looking for an experienced Principal Architect with specialization in Data & Ad Analytics. The candidate would help drive product and data strategy in growing our first party data, improving our ad tech analytics and overall product performance across of product portfolio. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in 1) Ad & Data technologies and analytics frameworks (prefer BigQuery, GAM, GA3/4), 2) enterprise marketing clouds (prefer Salesforce) and solid knowledge of Cloud Data and SaaS Platforms provided by AWS & GCP. This role is a senior Independent Contributor role and as such will help one or more development teams to develop scalable, resilient and efficient enterprise cloud data and ad analytics platform.

We are looking for someone who is proactive with amazing ownership, has an ability to unravel emerging concepts and ideas with a strong bias to deliver in a domain that is fast changing!

Responsibilities:
• Deliver well defined architecture, end-to-end product design across our portfolio that 1) create and curate first party data 2) improve our ad performance KPI's including increase audience engagement, ad impressions and 3) detect ad anomaly in advance.
• Work closely with the engineering and product to evangelize and help team build a next generation Data Management and Ad Tech platform
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Sinclair organizations on architectural improvements while building on top of org level standards

Minimum Qualifications:
• 4+ years as a Senior Architect/Sr Enterprise Architect/Sr Solution Architect with a strong delivery experience on ad tech platform, enterprise marketing cloud, data platform and analytics services
• 3+ years of experience in Google Cloud, Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Google Search Console and Google Assistant or equivalent AWS stack
• 2+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services, Node.js, Kubernetes/ECS, Terraform, Gitlab, and/or AWS

Preferred Qualifications:
• Work with ambiguity and conflicting priorities
• Communicate/Collaborate to build consensus on ideas, proposals and designs
• Embrace/help an evolving above the line behavior driven work culture
