Job Description

Stadium is the original multi-platform sports network featuring exclusive live and on-demand games and events, extensive highlights, classic games, original programming, and daily live studio programming. Stadium includes a 24/7 linear feed distributed across both digital and broadcast platforms, as well as a comprehensive array of on-demand (VOD) digital content including additional live games and events.

Stadium is looking for an NBA Producer to join our team. The NBA Producer is responsible for creating content both live and on-demand, in-studio and remote, covering all things related to the NBA. The ideal candidate will be able to generate content ideas, execute projects from inception to completion and work very closely with on-air talent.

Major Responsibilities/Activities
• Possess a clear and defined high level of sports knowledge, especially NBA
• Work with Stadium basketball insider to develop content ideas
• Write scripts and coordinate rundowns for live and taped programming
• Strong understanding of social media and best practices to integrate into and from shows
• Create graphics and find video support for branded segments
• Communicate with digital staff, graphics, associate producers, editors, and production assistants on what support is needed
• Work directly with on-air talent on both show-related content and topics as well as on-air delivery
• Coordinate remote shoots including location scouting, crew booking and travel
• Provide research and background for interview subjects
• Manage a small team of content creators covering social media, digital media and television production
• Open to feedback and critiques of your work

Minimum Requirements
• 8+ years of sports production experience
• College Degree related field of Broadcasting, Media, Journalism, and Digital Media
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Software/Program Experience
• Experience with INEWS strongly preferred
• Experience with MediaCentral strongly preferred

Competencies
• Attention to detail required
• Ability to communicate and work well with others required

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
• Ability to work in an office environment with moderate noise
• Ability to perform computer work for an extended period of time
• Work non-business hours and possibly weekends
