Local Sales Manager

Job Description

Bally Sports Arizona is seeking a Local Sales Manager (LSM)! The LSM is responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly local revenue goals through the sale and management of FSA inventory. The LSM will manage three (3) Account Executives, a Sales Planner, and a Client Service Coordinator. LSM responsibilities include developing new business, creating and maintaining existing client relationships, generating new revenue ideas and concepts, working with Programming and Marketing teams in order to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities include:
• Assist and manage the Account Executives (AE's) in the development of new business
• Work with AE's to increase existing clients spending with our network
• Manage inventory in order to maximize rate and revenue to network
• Develop new revenue ideas and turn those ideas into revenue
• Maximize use of tickets and entertainment opportunities to increase revenue
• Negotiate advertising opportunities

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• A minimum of 7 years sales experience is required
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Basic mathematical and reasoning skills
• Proficient in Outlook, Google, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Sales management experience is strongly preferred
• Nielsen, Scarborough, and Media Monitors knowledge is a plus
