Responsibilities for Boomi Development Lead
• Integration Engineer responsible for all aspects of designing, developing, deploying and maintaining applications on multiple types of computer hardware and operating systems.
• This includes using APIs and coding solutions to enhance applications or addresses fixes to applications not performing as desired.
• Gathers information, analyzes requirements and business processes and information systems of a more complex nature.
• Develops and confirms project specifications, mentors and assists less experienced personnel.
• Can use these requirements to create technical specifications and code modifications.
• Works independently to develop practical, workable, cost-effective solutions to business problems to satisfy client requirements.
• Understands Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Common Information Model (CIM), Cloud and Microservices architecture, Container/Docker, Test Automation and DevOps pipelines.
• Advises on technology choices, design decisions and performs code reviews.
• Actively participates in the management and optimization of computing resources.
• May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.
• Acts to stay on schedule and maintain costs.
• Effectively researches, analyzes, and identifies current and emerging technology trends/products/concepts that can improve the team's or client's business process.
• Maintain deep knowledge of technology and its application across our business areas or for our customers
• Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Qualifications for Data Integrations Engineer
• Bachelor's degree (ex: Computer Science or related discipline) and 2 - 3 years of relevant experience (programming technologies) or minimum 6-10 years of relevant combination of education and work experience
• Demonstrates strong software development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Excellent communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal).
• ''BOOMI'' developer with ADO CI/CD pipeline knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Operating Systems - Windows, Solaris or Linux; or strong knowledge of cloud platforms - Azure, Amazon or Google
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases - Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MySQL, Redis, Splunk
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming Languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, etc. 
• Experience using data reporting and visualization tools (e.g. Cognos, SSRS, Qlik, Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong understanding of advanced programming concepts, data structure and algorithms
• Experience with developing and supporting systems integrations in a Service Oriented Structure including SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and REST (Representational State Transfer)
• Experience with Azure API Management, Google Apigee, Dell Boomi or other Cloud hosted API

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in leading software development efforts, designing conceptual data models & system architecture, and user interfaces, is a major plus
• Master's degree in CS (or equivalent field) plus 3 years of relevant experiences
• Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development
• Experience in automated testing including unit testing, UI testing and functional testing
• Demonstrated understanding of what makes good software design, a deeper understanding of programming languages, and an ability to solve engineering problems of increasing difficulty.
• Mindful of practices, procedures and legal guidelines that govern PII and other sensitive data
• Shows initiative beyond pure implementation.
• Experience building highly scalable applications
• Experience working with SCRUM, Kanban or other Agile development environments
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
