Job Description

Sinclair Broadcast Group is currently seeking a Business Systems Coordinator! The person in this entry level position will be mainly focused on an internally developed television program management system (PALAS), but will be cross-trained on other finance systems. PALAS manages program contracts, scheduling, and liability information.

Responsibilities include:
• Provide user support for existing PALAS users and teaching new users the different functions of the system
• Input and update data for syndicated programming contracts in PALAS
• Maintain contract files
• Update Network programming schedules & syndicated programming episode schedules in PALAS
• Track and submit Intercompany film payments monthly
• Assist with monthly approval of station film payments
• Complete various analysis on a quarterly basis to support SEC reporting requirements
• Complete various reporting requirements on a quarterly basis to support quarterly financial analysis
• Assist with other monthly and quarterly tasks

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and perform well under deadlines
• College courses in Accounting, Finance or a Business related field a plus
