Marquee Sports Network is the television home of the Chicago Cubs in partnership with Sinclair Broadcast Group (Nasdaq: SBGI). It is the Chicago's exclusive network to view live Cubs games featuring extensive pre and postgame coverage, exclusive Cubs content and other local sports programming. Marquee Sports Network is seeking an entry level Broadcast Maintenance Engineer to assist in supporting and maintaining the infrastructure, and equipment of the television network. This includes daily control room, studio, live remote engineering and IT support in a 2110 IP based facility. This Maintenance Engineer will report to the Director Engineering/IT and will assist in the overall sustainment of the facility as well as provide IT support to Marquee staff in general. As such, candidate must be a highly organized, strong communicator with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working with, and supporting:
• Production switchers
• Video routers
• Wireless microphones and audio mixers
• Video editing software
• Computers (PCs and Macs)

We prefer candidates with at least two years of work experience as a broadcast or IT technician. Willing to consider equivalent experience. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is:

A self-starter who works well with others in a team environment
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational need
• Eager to learn new technologies and expand their skill set
• A good communicator with strong written and oral communication skills
• Able to run and terminate cables including coaxial, twisted pair, audio, and fiber optic cables
