Job Description
Associate Marquee Sports Network seeks an Associate Producer, with strong knowledge of television production, and a willingness to be a part of a fun, award-winning energetic production team that has a passion for baseball. The Associate Producer will help to assist the Producer in several tasks including:

Responsibilities:
• Under the direction of the Producer, independently produce and edit intermediate/advanced level VO/SOT (Voice Over/Sound on Tape) elements, teases, breakdown packages, features and other creative elements for daily and post-produced shows.
• Produce News and In-Game updates.
• Assist Producers with creative content and production elements
• Prepare assigned features.
• Mentor PA's in editing and/or other areas of Production as directed.
• Participate in segment producing (e.g., sales and marketing projects, social media, special features, or interviews) as assigned.
• Produce and edit entry-level post-produced shows as assigned.
• Participate in various field producing roles as assigned.
• Be willing to go to Wrigley Field daily and other potential assigned travel

It is expected that the Associate Producer will maintain and increase knowledge in the Production discipline as well as the business on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have most, if not all, the following skills, and experiences:
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years sports television production experience or related business experience is required.
• Effectively utilize Avid and/or Adobe Premiere Edit and rundown software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be extremely organized, demonstrate initiative and an ability to complete multiple assignments in a timely manner with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of sports gambling preferred but not required
• Demonstrate the ability to work calmly under a pressurized live television environment.
• Possess the visual acuity to work in darkened edit rooms for extended periods of time to produce required content.
• Possess auditory acuity to effectively listen to instructions via intercom system, phones, etc.
• Possess the manual dexterity to effectively operate keyboard/mouse on computers, edit equipment, etc.
