Accounts Receivable Analyst

Sinclair Broadcast Group's Corporate Accounting department is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Apply customer payments to accounts accurately and efficiently
• Enter/import customer remittances and subscriber counts into accurately
• Analyze applied payments and process invoice adjustments as necessary
• Research and resolve account discrepancies
• Establish strong working relationships and maintain effective communication with all customers within your purview
• Assist with special projects and analysis as assigned
• Maintain accurate digital files of customer payments and remittance
• Identify and implement improvements to systems and processes
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and contracts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred but not required
• 3 + years' experience in Accounts Receivable (required)
• Ability to input and manage, and reconcile high volumes of information
• Experience working in financial systems software and learning new processes a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate Excel skills a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and organized
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Working knowledge of the Broadcast/Pay TV Industry a plus
