Simon & Schuster seeks a Subsidiary Rights Assistant to support the department in negotiating licenses for serial, book club, large print, and international rights for the Atria and Simon Element imprints.
Additional responsibilities include:
-- Preparing seasonal rights lists
-- Researching royalty, sales, and contract information for titles up for renewal/reversion/termination.
-- Coordinating the supply of production materials to foreign publishers.
-- Managing the flow of contracts to foreign licensees.
Looking for someone with a strong interest in subsidiary rights and previous experience in book publishing (including internships).
