Prepares all journal entries, reconciles all account balances, analyzes, understands and ensures proper accounting for all transactions activity for each of the areas mentioned below. Understands variances to Plan, Estimates, and Prior Year for all assigned areas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reconcile daily and month end accounts receivable activity to the system subledger.
• Record non-AR cash transactions to the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly sales accruals.
• Analyze monthly operating expense activity.
• Review new GAAP pronouncements and related impact on S&S.
• Prepares all related journal entries accurately and analyzes significant variations.
• Reconciles all assigned accounts on a monthly basis.
• Forecasts related balance sheet position for all accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepares assigned reports with accurate data and appropriate footnotes and references.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• BS in Accounting, MBA or CPA is preferred
• One to three years of experience in private or public accounting
• Ability to analyze detailed accounting activity assessing the amounts for P&L Risks and Opportunities

SKILLS
• Superior PC Skills in a Windows environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with mainframe G/L and subsystems

SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM TO 5:00 PM
