The Senior Designer creates about 30-40 original cover designs per year with an advanced level of skill sets necessary to creating original and interesting designs for the S&S, Scribner and Avid Reader imprints.

A strong attention to details is necessary for creating and completing mechanicals to the printer.

Candidates should have an understanding of the market place, versatile usage of photography and illustration, advance usage of typography and fonts, mature color sensibility, flexible and explorative design sensibility. The senior designer is able to work on their own and/or in collaboration with the art director.

2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
