This role will provide administrative support to the SVP Publisher of the S&S imprint. Responsibilities will include daily administrative, clerical, some editorial tasks such as: managing calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments; serving as administrative liaison within the imprint as well as when interfacing with other departments; gathering and organizing materials; back up support for billing and contracts; filing travel & expense reports; mailing author copies; drafting descriptive text about our books.
Required skills include:
Previous administrative experience, preferably supporting an executive
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook
An undergraduate degree at a minimum
A love of books
