The National Account Manager position is responsible for selling all S&S Adult Wholly owned titles to Costco and all S&S wholly owned and distributed titles to Hudson News, Hudson Wholesale, Paradies, Trofies, Stellar and smaller airport accounts. Through knowledge of both accounts and their customer base, this employee must curate the title list, identifying titles that are a strong fit for the Costco and airport customer. For titles placed, it is the responsibility of the account manager to create promotional plans to maximize sell through. Managing inventory needs by coordinating with S&S Supply Chain and Readerlink is essential in keeping books in placement at the accounts. Identify opportunities and submissions for Hudson Great Reads, National Contest, Universal Floorstand among other promotions. Communicate account feedback and status of titles with publishing and sales management. Participate in weekly marketing meetings and seasonal sales conferences.

Qualifications Include:
• Minimum 3-5 years of active selling experience in the publishing industry is required
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize competing demands
• Experience with order processing & inventory management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Edelweiss
• A passionate reader is a must
