The Simon & Schuster Education & Library division is seeking a Marketing Manager. Responsibilities for this role include:
• Spearheading conference author pitching and programming for 7 library shows: ALA Midwinter, TLA, ALA Annual, AASL, PLA, ALA Black Caucus, YALSA Symposium
• Coordinating all aspects of shows including booth and furniture order, giveaways, packing/shipping of in-house materials, author travel, in-booth signings and events
• Coordinating virtual events for authors and publisher sponsorship
• Overseeing submission of all Children's awards including national and state Award lists, author notification & travel, TMM input, SimonandSchuster.net State Award Map
• Organizing various library webinar participation ex: Booklist & SLJ)
• Managing the creation of seasonal marketing plans for Children's imprints
• Presenting Ed/Library children's marketing plans at seasonal sales meetings
• Presenting Children's titles at various librarian book buzzes
• Supervising Children's Library Marketing Coordinator

Qualifications:
• Education: BA or BS is required
• Must have at least four years experience in children's publishing or a related field.
• Must be highly-organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and possess good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various social media platforms preferred.
