Simon & Schuster Children's Books is seeking a Managing Editoria Assistant. This role is responsible for processing acquisition paperwork from the editorial/business office and setting up titles in the title management system; trafficking various work through the department and updating systems; sending weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports; scheduling and attending various meetings; daily interaction with editorial, design, production, sales, marketing, and legal departments
Eexcellent organizational and computer skills are needed
College degree preferred
Strong writing, grammatical, and communication skills required
Interest in children's book publishing is a must
