DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include: providing notes on manuscripts and reports on submissions, scheduling meetings, routing invoices and contracts, preparing materials for marketing, positioning and sales meetings; tracking catalog copy, jacket copy, author photos, covers, etc.; and acting as a point person for authors on everyday requests.
An interest in a variety of fiction and nonfiction books is essential, including upmarket and literary fiction, narrative nonfiction and lifestyle.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in book publishing is preferred but not required
