Job Profile:

This is a senior role in a thriving non-fiction team. We are looking to recruit an experienced non-fiction editor with an interest in serious non-fiction with commercial appeal to lead our S&S imprint.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Publishing Director for non-fiction, your role will primarily centre around building a list of bestselling and agenda-setting non-fiction. You will also take strategic responsibility for the direction and growth of the list as a whole.

The Candidate's Profile:

The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for the importance of non-fiction publishing. You must have a deep understanding of the market and the ambition and skillset to take your books to their widest audience. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a meticulous eye for detail and an ability to interact at all levels.

We are keen to hear from the widest range of candidates and we're open to different types of

experience. If you have experience in non-fiction publishing, we would love to hear from you, but it

is not essential.
