Simon & Schuster is seeking a Demand Planning Analyst. Responsibilities for this role will include
• Managing inventory levels of backlist for some of our publishing groups
• Preparing agendas, making printing recommendations, and holding weekly reprint meetings with Associate Publishers
• Reviewing and updating the inventory system used to track backlist inventory and sales
• Ordering priority reprints as needed
• Sending warehouse requests for inventory moves and dispositions
• Creating, updating, reviewing and sending out daily and weekly inventory reports
• Requesting updates and changes to title data with the Title Maintenance group
• Departmental support-including running daily and weekly reports

1-3 years of experience in Inventory Planning/Operations or degree in pertinent field is required.

College degree preferred
