Overview:

Under direction of the Senior Vice President, Photography, the Sr. Manager will work across series and events to capture and curate compelling imagery that best represents SHOWTIME series and brand. Come join our growing team!

Responsibilities:
• Review scripts and one-line schedules to identify key scenes for unit photography coverage.
• Secure and hire unit photographers for assigned domestic and international series and guide the episodic coverage.
• Establish and manage relationships with production contacts on series including Executive Producers, Directors and Line Producers.
• Handle inception of unit photography for assigned series including arranging asset delivery, file processing and naming, input metadata and caption information, photo editing, archiving and distribution of assets.
• Creatively edit large volumes of unit and gallery photography assets in efficient and organized manner to curate final selects.
• Maintain and facilitate talent photo approvals on assigned series.
• Strategically color correct and retouch images for series and events. Pull screen grabs and work on necessary legal rights and clearances.
• Brainstorm creative ways to heighten visuals collected and shared with Social teams for campaign tactics.
• Work closely with Publicity team on assigned series to identify potential first-look and exclusive imagery for press.
• Maintain and schedule release of image selects on Showtime's Press Express site for assigned series and events. Distribute gallery and unit images. Fulfill internal and external photo requests.
• Work across teams including Corporate Communications, Publicity, Talent Relations, Awards, Marketing, Social, International, etc.
• Help coordinate photo coverage needs for special events including screening premieres, FYC events, TCA. Provide onsite photography support.
• Brainstorm creative ideas for Publicity gallery concepts. Work with the SVP, Photography populating creative decks with visual references to be shared with Executive Producers and Talent. Attend photo shoots and provide art direction to best implement finalized PR concepts.
• Work with the SVP, Photography to develop efficient processes using new technical systems and photography applications as technology advances over time.

Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years of professional work experience.

Additional Qualifications:
• Previous work experience in a creative field within the entertainment industry with emphasis in photography and photo processing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production, unit photography coverage, set protocols, and Local 600 guidelines.
• Established relationships with a range of unit and gallery photographers.
• Extensive knowledge and proficiencies in Adobe Create Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere), Photo Mechanic. Experience with DF Studio for image management and talent approvals. Must be proficient in MAC OS system.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others! Must be able to communicate optimally.
• Ability to multi-task and balance numerous projects, show initiative and have strong time-management skills to meet deadlines. Willing to work overtime hours, including nights and weekends.
