Overview & Responsibilities:

Showtime is looking for a pop culture-loving, television-obsessed Senior Director, to be the strategic lead for digital & social marketing supporting Showtime's scripted series! This role will be a crucial partner to our Vice President, Brand & Digital Marketing in driving the vision and evolution of the Showtime scripted series initiatives, and leading a team of digital marketers to produce and implement digital & social campaigns that drive fan engagement, acquisition, and viewership.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop and implement campaign strategies that drive and/or support overall series marketing and deliver against specific goals.
• Partner with the Director, Digital Content to identify key series, episode, and character insights driving creative strategy and ideation.
• Collaborate with the VP of Awards to identify FYC social opportunities supporting ongoing Awards campaigns.
• Streamline adoption of standard processes across platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
• Partner with Vice President to set measurable goals for the brand overall, social channels, and individual Scripted campaigns.
• Encourage partners to regularly mine consumer insights to deliver significant content to our audiences across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and beyond.
• Manage the day-to-day work, skill development, and career growth for direct reports.
• Build a team culture that stimulates innovation, curiosity, & out-of-the-box thinking, drives accountability, and encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Assist in identifying and streamling internal process improvements and solutions to bolster team communication, collaboration, and efficiency
• Manage relationships with third-party creative and social agency partners.
• Own relationships with key and emerging social platforms ensuring Showtime remains at the forefront of digital & social innovation.
• Collaborate with Paramount corporate, Talent Relations, Creative, Business & Legal Affairs and other networks to build a cohesive, 360 approach to promoting scripted series.

Basic Qualifications:
• A proven track record of successfully managing, and activating a team.
• 8+ years of digital and social media expertise, with tactical experience developing strategies and implementing campaigns.
• Entertainment experience, preferably at an agency with a TV/streaming platform client or directly at a TV network/streaming platform.

Additional Qualifications:
• Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with all types of people at all varying levels.
• Experience covering on-the-ground events including screenings, set visits, premieres, parties or red carpets.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends, as necessary and travel to events, production locations, and other places, as required.
• Experience working with A-List talent and talent management to participate in social campaigns and promote content on their social platforms.
