Overview and Responsibilities
Position will be a member of the Cross-Platform Audience Research team, supporting internal teams across the company including Programming, Scheduling, Marketing, and Communications, among others. The role will report to the Vice President of Audience Research and will focus on viewership performance and trends across traditional and streaming platforms.
Day-to-day responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Track and analyze the performance of Showtime programming across genres, covering traditional and streaming platforms
• Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly viewership reports using Nielsen, ComScore, and internal databases
• Apply viewership & demographic data to draw practical insights and help drive programming and marketing decisions
• Keep senior leadership informed of competitive programming performance across the landscape
• Provide ad-hoc data analyses and reports under tight deadlines as required
Basic Qualifications
• 4+ years' experience in Television Audience Research with advanced understanding of Nielsen (NPower) viewership data and software
• High level proficiency in Excel (vlookups, macros), PowerPoint and Tableau
• Experience making presentations in front of large groups; ideal candidate will be a polished presenter
• Must possess the skills for working with numbers/data with impeccable attention to detail
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with ComScore data and Adobe Analytics
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with experience working with senior leadership
• Highly analytical and organized, capable of prioritizing assignments, resourceful, and proactive!
