Job Description

Overview & Responsibilities

You will provide support for both the SVP of Entertainment PR & Awards and the SVP of Talent Relations, Events & Promotions, assist with various projects as assigned and provide occasional support for other members of the Communications department.

This role will also handle high volume calendars, answer phones, lead rolling calls, coordinate travel arrangements, deliveries, route and file invoices/contracts, complete and submit monthly travel and expense reports, help with presentations and facilitate the flow of confidential and timely information throughout the department and company.

You will also assist with talent gifting, and special events such as TCA, premiere/industry events and consumer events. Support Publicity and Talent Relations/Event Teams on talent itineraries. Build and update press/industry lists, talent and event grids. Review all daily and weekly trade magazines, local newspapers and consumer press for Showtime and/or cable industry articles. Scan internet and social media sites for Showtime references. Responsible for distributing trade and consumer stories for senior members of management. Onboard new employees (including Interns) into the Communications department.

Basic Qualifications
• Ideally a college graduate, but degree is not required
• Minimum 2+ years of previous Executive Assistant experience
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Zoom, Teams, Slack and basic database skills

• Previous experience in media not needed, but a plus
